Prototype History

Dongfeng 11 type diesel locomotive is GuangShen line (Guangzhou-
Shenzhen) at speeds of 160km/hour passenger train and the development
of the quasi High speed passenger Train, the locomotive standard power
is 3040kw, the Maximum operating speed is 170km/h, It is completed
by the end of 1990. On December 22, .1994 the trial,Guangshen line
officially opened .The Dongfeng 11 locomotive traction tasks on quasi
high speed passenger trains, and laid the foundation for the April 1, 1997
and October 1, 1998 two railway speed-up, made contribution, opened
China's railway passenger traffic to the new high-speed development period.
This locomotive is quasi high speed train of Qishuyan locomotive factory for
Guangshen line speed of 160km and the development of the post, become
the main type Chinese railway speed passenger locomotive, from the four
times speed of the first highspeed from 1997 to 2004. has always been
charged with the task of express passenger traintraction.
This locomotive has Three type ,Four serial numbers.This is DF11 0418
locomotive manufactured by Qishuyan locomotive vehicle China plant in
2003, attached to Beijing Railway Bureau Beijing West depot (referred
simply as the Beijing Bureau West Depot)
